the design of a ferrite transformer is a trade-off, there isn't a direct relation between core cross section area and output power. A good starting point could be the application notes that you can find at this link **broken link removed**
These application note are written by Colonel Wm. T. McLyman, you can buy his books at http://www.ejbloom.com/

ferrite transformer calculator

I have 2 ferrites with AL = 8600 each.
If i put them together to double the Ae (efective aria) ... what happend with AL ? It is doubled too ?

ferrite core al calculator

It will stay same .. (a little late ? )

we can design the transformers and inductrors.

Re: ferrite transformer calculation

Hi. i find a good methode for calculate inductors and transformers. i 'll send my methode for you as soon as possible.
Best wishes
