Hello my friends:

I am a new comer in VHDL Programmer.

I have to work with Fixed point number.

Is there any library supports representing Fixed point number and operators with them.

I am using VHDL package "fixed_pkg" for working with Fixed point number.

After I add files "fixed_pkg.vhd" to my project, but still I can not use that library.

Who already used that library, please tell me steps for installing and using that library.

I mean Steps for making library, compiling and mapping that library by ISE.

Dear Mr. Salma:

I just review the library that you susgested. I will try it tomorrow, however that lib. does not support division operator, am I right?

Division operator is very important to my design, is there any solution for that ?

well...i am not sure about that...haven't extensively worked with it
try and if u have any problems we can search some more

by the way, i am miss Salma not MR.
