Hello
i am very new to pic programming, but i am trying to initialize a lcd using a pic16f84 series. can anybody help me to get the code please........

The lcd is : Samsung Ks0066u
the compiler is : MPLAB

Any help would be much appreciated

try proteus virtual simulator. even examples are given with source code

Or try with simple pic compilers like picbasic.

you can use ccs compiler too.
it has "lcdout" & ... command for direct using LCD
