hfss rcs

hi;

My problem is:

I want know the different steps that I must fellow to simulate ( the monostatic radar cross section ( RCS) ) of 3D objects ( box , cylindre,...) with HFSS v9.0:

I have not found an example or project of simulation of monostatic RCS by HFSS 9.0? or a documentation (*.pdf )

if you have an example, project or documentation about simulation monostatic RCS with HFSS 9.0, please send it to me.

thanks;

hi,
I have the same problem as you :)
I want to simulate the monostatic RCS of simple shapes (sheet, cylinder..etc) and arbitrary shapes.

when I was researching in the internet about simulation of monostatic RCS by HFSS, I saw your message and this forum center.

If you have some examples about simulation of monostatic RCS by HFSS (v10 or 9), or If you received answer for your message, can you send it me?

thanks,

bistatic hfss

Hi, I've been looking at this problem for a while too. The closest solution to the problem is that for bistatic scattering application which follows a similar principle.

You can find it as part of a field calculator tutorial here

**broken link removed**. If you have HFSS 11, floquet ports make it easier to solve this particular example using linked boundaries.
