I am looking for an IC that will allow me to record several voice messages into and recall them at will in any sequence that I wish.
I have investigated the Winbond series, but they don't seem to be my solution.
Can anyone direct me?

Thank you very much for your help.

Re: Voice chip recorder

With microcontrollers based designs I use the RC-2 speech waveform encoder, see "Speech Waveform Encoder", Circuit Cellar #180 July 2005. The hardware needed to play-back sound uses only two resistors and one capacitor. You´ll need a serial memory to store digital voice and an audio amplifier.
