I'm a beginner . I don't know to choose analog or digital. In fact I like analog ,but many people say that analog is out of date or not important. Now the heart of a whole system is digital, and analog is only periphery interface. Anyone would like to tell me about analog's future? Thanks!!!!

Analog never be out of date. All the real signals are analog . so purely digital cannot make any sense. analog and digital interfaces are required.
Analog cannot be automated fully like digital. analog will have very good future .
All the best for u r bright future .

Many years ago, people tallk about the analog would be out of date. but now digital design is sth like analog. it is impossible for very high speed digital signals swing from rail to rail. analog will have bright future.

Below 45 nano every thing is analog. The parasitic capacitances at that technology and below will be soo considerable that even a digital designer should know the concepts of analog. The future lies in analog mixed signal.

we must not forget that human and nature underestand only analog signal and even if u cabable of made evry thing in digital form u will need a converters to be interface with the human
plus as all say in modern techs all thing is analog
