orcad 7 segment

Hi,
What is the part number of 7-segment display? If not available then is there any part available of 7 sesgment display?
I need part library for PIC18F452 and PIC18F4431. Where can I get those?
How can I update parts library?

Thanks in advance.

There's a Yahoo group for peer-to-peer library exchange https://groups.yahoo.com/group/OrCADexchange/. I'm pretty sure that the library for PIC18F452 is there. By the way, PIC18F452 and PIC18F442 have the same pinout. Also PIC18F452 and PIC18F4431 have very similar pinouts (as, you have probably noticed), so modifying PIC18F452 into PIC18F4431 should be easy.

7 segment orcad

Well, if the any component is not available in OrCAD you have to create a new model for that.
For example recently I have to use PIC16F88 and I created the component model for OrCAD Schematic and Layout myself.

Actually its very simple. You can create a new library in OrCAD Schematic. Try to copy a new part from an existing library and try find how component outline and pins are attached.

In the same way in OrCAD Layout too there is library create option. You can copy existing foot-prints from other libraries and modify them for the new component.

The attached file contains the Schematic component for PIC16F88.

I'm affraid you'll have to make PIC18Fxxxx library yourself. The Capture CIS on line has a poor support for higher Microchip family than 16Fxxx. But it's an easy task anyway.
