I have a license for a Protel DXP 2004, and I have the SP3 may I know how I can get the SP4?
I try with my distributor because the Altium SP4 download page is only for vendors, but they can't send me the userid and password for the download.
May sameone help me ?
Thanks in advance.

If you have a legal license, SP4 is a free download from www.Altium.com. The file is about 183mb. You can also get the file on a CD from your local distributor.

You have to log in when you download the service pack from the web site. You use YOUR user ID and YOUR password which you get from YOUR distributor. SP4 is not just for vendors, but you do have to be a licensed customer to get an ID and password. This is similar to the other EDA companies such as Mentor and Cadence.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer.
I have the regular license for Protel DXP 2004 and I already ask at the local distributor for the Userid and Password but it say me that the userid and password is only for vendors.
At this point I think that the only way is to take a CD from the distributor.
Thanks again

Whoever you are talking to at your "distributor" is wrong. There is no special restricted access vendors area on the Altium web site. The support area is for users, and you should have received a password and ID by email to get access - all licensed users have access to all service packs and updates.
