need help

dear all

in a reciver of fm signal i have
rx=cos(wc+kf*∫m(t) dt).
i need to get
sin(wc+kf*∫m(t) dt)

can u suggest algorithm

thanx for help

As I understand from your post,
u have a cosine FM wave and want to convert it to sine wave.
my suggestion that is not efficient:
1) first derivate the rx :
cos (x) ---> x'. cos(x)
2)find the envelope of the above.
3) now integrate from the envelope to reach to the x.
4) take the sine of the x () now u have sin(x).

PLZ do inform me if the above process worked for u.

Re: need help

ok let us discuss this
as u know i need to get sine from cosine in order to demodulate the fm signal.
if differentiation and envelope detectore is done it means we get x which means i already demodulate it so no need for get sin (x).
i need to get sin(x) in another way

thanx for help

Re: need help

Hey,

in a reciver of fm signal i have
rx=cos(wc+kf*∫m(t) dt).
i need to get
sin(wc+kf*∫m(t) dt)

If I understood what do you want correctly, you have access to all these parameters mentioned in the cos expression right. If it is the case, please recall the well-known trigonometrical identity: sin(x) = cos(x+pi/2).

Cheers.

need help

hi
retrieving sin(x) from cos(x) is a method of FM demodulation?
explain more about what uwant to do with sin(x) described in ur previous post so maybe i could help you.
