Hi,

I am trying to use a piezoelectric stack. I have tried to think of powering the piezoelectric stack just like powering a capacitor.(drawing 1). This means that the impedance will vary by 1/jwC. I wonder if this is correct?

Also, I am trying to operate the piezo extender in continuous mode. The piezo will shift back and forth to its extended and original position. I am thinking of building a power amplifier circuit to power the piezo. Is there any additional precaution or condition I would need to think of?

Thanks for your help!
