Hi ;

I want to put in my simulation environment the effect of pin loadings (equivalent resis., cap., and inductance) like Elmore model or RLC model. So my question is "What is the practical values of these equivalent components or in what range".
For example, in this VCO circuit which is working lower than 1GHz, how to model the pins of transistor, coil, traces.....etc. I know that it will be an RLC model but how to calculate these values ???

Plz if anyone can help with this issue, i will be grateful.
Thanks alot

for the copper trace, you can use ADS library. The library inludes trace, juctions, via etc. If you are very serious about the simulation, you can also use full wave EM simulation for all traces and put it back in the schematic as a n-port device. there is a tutorial on this.

What about make a layout and momentum...
