k179 unipolar stepper

Did anyone build k179 for stepper motor driver.

I built this project depending on the schematic diagram but it didn't work.

Would you please give me details?

I am waiting your replies.

To troubleshoot this circuit you may need an oscilloscope ..

Start with checking supply voltages: +5V for circuit and whatever is required for motor supply ..
Then check if the oscillator based on IC2-B oscillates .. and folow that signal through D-latches to the outputs of MOSFETS ..

IanP

Hi, again

I built this circuit but I want a more stable stepper motor drive circuit.

on the other hand, I want an explanation of the difference between {bipolar stepper} and {unipolar stepper motor}.
