HFSS need Help

please tell me whether its necessary that every
solution should converge somewhere when using HFSS9.2

normally i just give the solution setup then sweep
with some step size ........and then validate it and
simply run and note the results.....
i don't go in RESULTS/SOLUTION DATA/CONVERGENCE and
check whether the solution gets converged somewhere or
not..........

please guide me ...

note that in my simulations i m just exciting some
structure placed in a waveguide through waveports...so
for this purpose , is it necessary that solution
should converge...

according to my method which described above,
sometimes solution don't converges...

so what does it mean?
is my solution wrong ??

Re: HFSS need Help

if it doesnt converge i think u shud either refine mesh or increase no. of iterations. just try these two. it may take longer to simulate
