Suggestions needed for embedded job

Hi,

I have few months working experience in embedded company.
But feel there is lot to know in embedded.I want to make my career in embedded field.I know Embedded C/Assembly language not in deep.I have done 2 projects in embedded.I have been using Keil IDE to develop programs.

If anybody working in embedded industry, please guide me what are the software/hardware skills required to get job in embedded.
Because in embedded companies mostly they ask for 2-3 years working experience in the same field. So as a beginner How sholud i develop my career in embedded.

I have done training course in embedded design & applications where i learnt abou C/8051microcontroller, did some simple assembly,c programming.

Any suggestions are welcome.

well Assembly and C are a must for sure

try to learn ARM processor

if u want to go into mobile applications learn java

(J2ME)..that does under embedded systems
you gotta have some good knowledge about Realtime

Operating Systems

try doing small projects in online tutorials...that

would be really helpful..and i would also suggest

that u take up a certain field and start reading

more about it and how embedded systems can be

useful in it
