temperature to current parabolic

hi all

Do you know how to generate parabolic current curve across temperature? It has
positive TC and negative TC as well.

TX

Never did just guess - can use linear tempco device and put its output to amp with parabolic transfer characteristic . Can tunnel diode serve that purpose ?

or , same linear tempco device output goes to ideal rectifier (temp dependent device output should be biased so its output must be 0 for parabola min). Got linear result can be smoothed by simple diode/resistor circuit to get parabola alike output .

Have a look to opamp circuits for solution .

surianova,
I don't understand the question. Are you trying to design acuircuit that provides a current that has a parabolic I = (C1) + (C2)T^2 variation with respect to temperature?
Regards,
Kral

Basically the graph that i want to generate is as in the attchment. TX

surianova,
Is the design to be embedded in an IC, or do you plan on using descrete components (op-amps, diodes, resistors, etc)?

Kral

it is embedded in the IC. TX
