ADS Frequency Divider

Hi all

Could anyone help me in modelling a frequency divider using ADS? or knowing a block which already divide frequencies.
N.B.: I wanna this thing for making a PLL(PFD-CP) with square wave Reference input

Regards

Re: ADS Frequency Divider

There is a built in block called "DvdByN" in the "System-PLL Components" library. You can use it to divide the output frequency in the feedback of PLL...Also you can make the divide ratio a pulse by using "if" and "else" condition (on simulation time)if you are interested to see the transient behaviour of your PLL....

Hope it helps..

Re: ADS Frequency Divider

Hi Haadi20

Thanks alot for ur interest; but my question is how to make the o/p of "DvdByN" Square wave instead of Saw Tooth.
And i have another question: how to insert in the PFD-CP block a PFD reset-path delay (of the and gate in the PFD)?

Regards
AHMAD
