Install IC5141 on Ubuntu :Problem!

The ./setup.sh is not being run from the CDROM

Run ./setup.sh from the mounted CDROM


what dose the info. above indicate ?
what should I do to resolve the problem ?
 

where did u get this install from...
it ain't complete...its supposed to have around 230 files...
get the complete thing and then untar the package into a folder..
PM if u hav any queries...
 

Sorry ,I have looked the folder ,but thses files which were considersed to be missing files are in the folder .

why ?
 

I got the same problem on SUN workstation.

I think we should have the file names are still capital characters and unchanged by OS.
But how to do it on UNIX system?
 

Maybe it's a tar problem. What version of Solaris, what version of tar?
You should be using some version of gnu tar to install IC. I forget what versions but it's on this board.
