first the casing of the letter (upper case and lower case)... pic should b PIC, ccs c should b CCS C... company name should b upper case...

then punctuation....
Code:
VHDL , XILINX
should b
Code:
VHDL, XILINX
... this same error happen few times in ur resume....

there are sometimes double space-bar
Code:
Cypress EZ USB

and the 1, 2 and 3 categories.. the words should start wth capital letter... y not?

and ... too bad... the C for PIC is Hi-tech... not H-tech

under the project section... the starting space part is not balance among itself... after the DOT...

in attachment there is my cv

thanks for your help i will take care of these errors

here attached my cv

I'd write "Get a job" instead of "Apply for a job".

attached is my cv

I checked your CV and your skills and field are similar to me ... your CV looks prety impressive, although have some faults ... also it is a bit long, CV should be maximum 3 pages ... but better is of 2 or 1 page as most examinars have just a few second to review your CV ...

also if you work out on your cv i feel there are many unnecessary things ... always try to put your strengths on first page like ur experience and academic grades looks ur strength ...

about suggesting u job ... i can just say that ... i am also in a muslim country and almost all muslim countries are working very less on technology ... you should be having plan to go for masters like me ... and then return and try to start your own technical work and expand it to a National and then multinational company ... wish u best of luck for that ...

I am Fresh Computer Engineer and searching for job now a days ... and willing to work in Digital Designing field ... but this field is not as popular in my country ...

Added after 7 minutes:

I have attached my CV also, it will may help you a bit ...

also I want suggestions from you and all other visitors ...

also i have question that ur cv is of 4 pages and mine is of 3 pages but size of ur CV is very lesser than mine ... can u tell why as i feel problem to attach it ... as my internet is bit slower ...

... Thanks in advance

i attached my cv

I have seen both of your CVs, and I have noticed that they explain all the projects in detail. I don't know if it is necessary, because I think a CV must just give a strong first impression, so i find 4 or even 3 pages too much. Mine is 1 page and one half, because I don't explain in detail the projects I have done, just list them and state what tools I used in each one.
In the case of Ramy Moh Ali: why did your Bachelor last 5 years? Do all Bachelors last 5 years in your country or what? I thought a Bachelor had to be achieved within 3 years, and then 2 more years for Masters, that means 5 years overall. I don't understand that.
Both of you don't explain what level of English you have, and today English is just the first thing when searching a job. You don't explain your human skills neither.
Please explain me if this is the standard way of writting a CV in your country, because it is very different than what we use to write here in Spain.
I attach my CV too, so that you can criticize it in depth. Please tell me what you find wrong in it.
Many thanks!

hi pepillo
Happy Birth Day to u
and
i have seen your CV, it looks better but as you asked for critism and opinion to improve ... so ....
On second page of your Cv, you have writen social skills, i feel that is useless as employer would not be seening it... he will be checking you in interview so it not looks better...
In computer skills, it is better to merge MS word, excel, powerpoint to MS office and ... it is also better to merge computer skills in technical skills... so you can merge your resume to one page ...
Also thing is your font size looks a bit small ... and your CV is looking a bit Bulky ,,, try to relax it in small sections and use Bold font for special skills ...
Also your cv pattern is very different ,, i have seen that pattern first time ...
also try to include interests ,,,
Also try to name important subjects ...

Now i discuss what you suggested for me ...

Actually i am having three CVs ... this is my Technical CV ... so i mentioned projects in detail ... while in my other CVs i have just written project names ,,,

In my country Engineering is of 4 years ... but i donot know of Ramy, or in ur country it may be three years ...

I have not done any special training on English Language ... so not mentioned /// but in my other CVs i have mentioned managerial and language cources more clearly ...

What i learned from your reply ...

I should mention duration of Bachelors Degree
I should mention english more clearly and should also care of that ...

i have attached my Non technical CV also, Plz see and critize as well ...

Hi Fahad, thanks, you noticed my birthday today :D

I have read your non-tech CV, it is correct in general, the other one was too. But it is different from the trends I think are followed in Europe, that may be why it differs from mine very much. The pattern I used for mine is a standard in European Countries.
My CV resembles your non-tech CV more than your technical CV! Maybe I should explain my projects more in detail so that I show the skills I acquired on those projects. But I think your employer will definately look at your social skills, in the end you will be working with a team of people and it's necessary that you can get in contact with them properly. We are men, not machines, we are human and our employer will want to hire a good engineer but also someone with human skills that can make the working atmosphere around him comfortable.

I wish you the best in your job search, and with your skills I think you will get a good job soon. I will attach my more-technical-CV here when I have it ready so that you can critizice it again.

social skills are definitely very important.....technical skills can be given as a training for freshers in some places provided that they have the ability to learn fast and enhance themselves later on their own... one also has to have the ability to work in teams and have a background on problem solving techniques and troubleshooting

some people are better with hands on work....others better in team leading and administrative positions...so that is why communication and soft skills have to be included in any CV

and if u find work RAMY ...please find me one too...thanks:D

yes i am open for relocation

I have written my technical CV explaining all my projects in detail. Please read it and critizice it and tell me what you find wrong in it. Many thanks!

Hi Pepilo and Salma (nice name :D) also to others
You may right that ... the social skills should be there ... i will also try to manage space in my CVs for that (as my technical CV is already of 3 pages )

I also know that we are Humans and have to work with Humans ... but still in writing ur cv it not shows any interest to employer and most will even not read it ... as all know that most of people just copy and paste these like skills ... e.g if i copy that social skill part from ur CV :D

But any way thats just my view ... and i will also include social skills in my CV as i feel u may be right to some extent ...

Pepilo ... i read your technical CV ,,, it looks better ... But still like to criticize (s its must to improve) ...

When u go for some technical job ... then in ur CV ... on first page you should try to describe your main SKILLS instead of Study background ... as most technical persons would be interested in your technical work more ... instead of your Degrees and scores ...
Also in first page write work and skills which you have (Related to the job for which you are applying ) ... as most employers just see first page in depth ... and some time they may not give go chance to turn your cv pages ... and ur interview be over ... so be careful about material on first page ...

So i feel ... after Personal information ... write skills thenexperience then projects and then Degrees and grades ... But to clarify ur status (engineer etc) you can write in one line on first page ... with title of "Professional Status" ...
Thanks

To all those looking for Job

What is your expected monthly salary if you have to work from home ? Please convert in US$.

I am unable to promise anything now but above will help me to workout my business plan and I may hire someone in future to design circuits. I have gone through many solutions posted by young engineers from India, Middle East, Pakistan etc and find them very competitive and very promising.

Thanks

I don't know how it works in your country, but in Europe you NEVER write your religion in CV!!!

Tell me .. how can you provide tools to people working from home ? .. if we assumed originally that you will be able to control and manager them remotely.

I am looking for a person who has passion for electronic designs around Microcontroller and CPLD. Hence my post was just to carry out market survey for salaries in case I cannot find one in Noida where my factory is coming up. Further due to boom it is also difficult to retain staff in Noida.

If I hire a person to work from home, this is what he must fulfill.

-With home PC

-Bachelor in Electronics.

-AVR studio (free from ATMEL)

-AVR programmer (~200US$. From me)

-Any schematic drawing tool (hand drawing scanned will also work)

-Familiar with PCB design (but no designing)

-Capable of carrying out web research

-Reply to technical queries from customers / contractors.

-Should have broadband connection.

-Good English

Further please let me know if you have experience in this field.

Thanks

Sorry, chance of misunderstanding I will rephrase the last line

Further please let me know if you have experience in hiring a person to work from home.

pepillo u wrote scheduled missing the C on the dates of education and training

what salaries will u give....in what range???

A good/effecitve resume should not have more than one page, and contain as much "scannable" technical keyword as possible.

In USA, your resume only needs to cover these information:
Personal -- name, mail address, email address and phone number.
Objective -- what kind of job you are looking for?
Education -- college/graducate school, and majors, ( you can mention your GDA, only if you have good one. )
Experience/Skill --
for job experience: company, position, project/product
for new graduate: thesis, senior project, or sklls
