AM...help me!

Hi!
Please help me with these questions:

1/With an AM DSB modulation system using Balanced Modulator, what is suppressed-carrier figure? And how to measure it?

2/With SSB demodulation system using Product Detector,if LO frequency increases, how is the output frequency at USB and at LSB?

Thanks!

AM...help me!

All the next answears refers to the frequiency graphs, bode or Fourier

For 1) It is like AM with power carrier but without the carrier.

2)USB islike the upper half of 1), and LSB the lower part of 1 the frecuency increases

please review the modulation theorem in any book of Fourier analisis.
