why we need time domain and frequency domain

can any one tell me what is the requirement of frequency domain ,when we have time domain signal analysis

why we need frequency domain

we have somany tools in frequency domain for signal analysis like fourier transforms ,laplace transforms, and z tranforms for discrete systems.
calculations and analysis of signals is very easy with these things

hi,
Signals are converted from time or space domain to the frequency domain usually through the Fourier transform. The Fourier transform converts the signal information to a magnitude and phase component of each frequency. Often the Fourier transform is converted to the power spectrum, which is the magnitude of each frequency component squared.
The most common purpose for analysis of signals in the frequency domain is analysis of signal properties.

It is remarkably useful to analyze the frequency spectrum of a signal. This technique is applicable to all signals, both continuous and discrete. For instance, if a signal is passed through an LTI system, the frequency spectrum of the resulting output signal is the product of the frequency spectrum of the original input signal and the frequency response of the system.
