Hi

I appoloize if this topic is asked earlier.

I am PCB designer & want to learn IC layout. Can anyone suggest how
to start. Any ebook/ tutorial or demo software available on net.

Any help will be appriciated..

u just follow the ART OF ANALOG LAYOUT by allanhastings.

Hey,

You can look for the book "CMOS IC LAYOUT" by Dan Clein which is a very good book for beginners. Alan Hastings would give you the entire depth on the subject.

first study the book on mixed analog digital.....by Tsividis (chapter5,6).it has sufficient matter of layout to start with.

if you want to be analog layout engineer, read some basic design and layout book. If you want place router, then need some training.

to be a good layout design engineer, you need to have some basic knowledge of circuit. otherwise, you can not be a good layout engineer.

u can start with this simple program "microwind" it also contain some toturial and some ways to see ur design in 3D and steps of the process
