Refresh Cycle

Hello Everybody,

If I have 600 columns of LEDs how to compute for its refresh period? Each refresh cycle refreshes the whole column not each LED in a column.

Is it Refresh Period = 1 / (number of columns * 30)
where 30 is the number of refreshes per second per column?

Thanks,
Jack

Re: Refresh Cycle

Hi Neoaspilet,
I did understand your statement "refresh the whole column and not each LED in a column" but any way here is the refresh rate you need to employ. Human eye is sensitive to blinks that are greater than 10ms of time lap. So refresh you columns 100 times per second and tobe on the safer side makse it 150 times per second and you are through.
