I don't have enough money to buy any board FPGA,so can any body show me the simulate software?thank

Re: poor

Don't worry, If I were rich, I would spend my time on Bahamas or Jamaica drinkig finest Rums and Single malts instead of fighting with VHDl and FPGAs :). Unfortunately the software for FPGA design is very expensive in its professional incarnation. Fortunately, however, there are free versions available from most FPGA vendors. One complete version of such a software you can find at www.xilinx.com. Its name is ISE 8.1i. You should also download MXE_3_6.0d package for simulation. License is free.
Also Altera has its free software named QuartusII, which can be downloaded from their site. Another package comes from www.actel.com, and its name is Libero.
I can't remember the version, but it's free and can also be downloaded from their site. Actel can send you a copy of it on a CD if you register (free of course ).

All you need to have is a PC with Linux or Windows, or Solaris. Unfortunately you can't go lower than that. You don't need any hardware kit or a real FPGA chip to simulate it in software.

Regards, yego

If you can somehow scrape up only $99 US, you can buy the Xilinx High Volume Starter Kit. It includes a Spartan-3 board, a CPLD board, cables, manuals, and starter software:

Or you can simply download the free development software (ISE WebPACK). It includes all the basic development tools and a lite version of ModelSim:
