hi
any ideas about the protection of the boost DC -DC converter

best regards

boost protection

What type of protection you need?
Output voltage, current, transistor, reverse voltage ...
put your circuit for evaluation.

Re: boost protection

Basically, look for a synchronous boost. Because the diode is replaced by a MOSFET, these devices provide protection by opening the "diode" or an additional MOSFET, used specifically for that purpose.
An example is the MAX8570-MAX8575 family. www.maxim-ic.com/quick_view2.cfm/qv_pk/4369/ln/

Try also the Linear Tech website for similar parts.
