Antenna Question !

How to Choose an Approporiate Antenna for a circuit ?
and what can happen if i choosed the wrong one ?

Re: Antenna Question !

you must answer this quasion for the selection of antena
1- is it a receiver and or transmitter antenna.
2- You must specify the radiation papter, the gain of antenna and the output and or input impedance of the circuit

for transmitter antenna you must care in the max output power which is handeled by the antenna. and for the reciver you must care in the noise figure and or the loss of antenna.

Also you must match the impedance of antenna and the circuit.
