hi all,

I am looking for a good source in 8051-c programing. I have studied a book about C programing and also a book about microcontroller 8051 programing,
but it seems now I need a book which relates c programing to 8051 and specializes c programing for 8051 controller.
my first preference is a free book which access will be easy and soon.then virtual classes and trainers.
if any body has any information please make me aware.

8051 c programming tutorial

the c programming of 8051 etc is very much similar to the assembly programming.
just check the tutorials of keil. orr goto www.atmel.com. and goto 8051 and then to c tutorials. all is given there

u can also check out Embedded Software primer by DAVID J SIMON and also Embedded Software by LEWIS,which might be available in this forum,am not sure,better search in the forum.

have you tried RIDE?its an IDE for 8051 like Keil,where you have the choice to do both C and assembly programming.it has help guide which says about 8051 C programming.

the book you have mentioned, THE 8051 MICROCONTROLLER AND EMBEDDED SYSTEMS is good only for hardware interacing concepts and assembly programming,it's not at all good for C programming.You have to opt for some other book.
