PCB desing from beggining for newbie

How someone, who is not good with PCB design, can start to learn such matter
and which steps are needed to develop documentation for making and testing
some PCB i.e. complete desing.

you must try to begin with OrCAD, Protel or PCAD.

I know all these programs but I worked only with schematics in Protel and OrCAD.
Which one is better for newbie. I will have to modify some complex design
of digital motor controller.

If you are a newbie to layout the pcb...in Orcad or Protel, better is to try EagleCAD...it won't disappoint you, and it autorouter is fairly efficient.
