hi, i am thinking about design of comparator, which has 5v source supply. Input voltage of comparator varies from 0 to 5v. if we consider PMOS or NMOS transistor as input, the output will not be right respective. We should consider pmos and nmos transistor as input synchronously, but i have no circuit schematic.
Could you have designed similar comparator offer some method and document to me?
thanks

can you describe your circuit more particularly?
there are too less information

hi, feier0251
In word, i wish the comparator operate both low voltage(groud) and high voltage(vhh), so input transistor of comparator should be pmos and nmos transistor. when input voltage is low, pmos transistors work;when input voltage is high, nmos transistors work.
are you clear my view?

thanks

use a rail to rail opa as comparator.
and you can find many paper about it in this board.

download John&Martin's book and Allan's book.
Both have a good chapter on comparators

Hi;
I agree with sunking.
you can get and reading rail-to-rail op-amp datasheet.
in some of datasheet have detailed internal schematic, and you
can investigate that circuit.

hi,sunking
i have designed the comparator that i need according to the rail to rail op.
thanks
best wish!

congratulations!
wish you be succeed!
