Thread: CMOS NOR gate's Layout?

Where can I find a basic CMOS NOR gate Layout picture?

ok dude.. one which which u have to remember when u design CMOS circuit.

NMOS and PMOS when arranged in series and parallel give different logic. so make sure you maintain the arrangement to achieve the logic.

NMOS| AND | OR |

PMOS | NAND | NOR |
-------|----------|----------------|

maintain and keep in mind this truth table :P (atleast a truth table like) arrangement when u want to design a CMOS circuit.

yes, for and(nand), nmos are in series, pmos are in parallel
for or(nor) nmos are in parallel, pmos are in series
in detail, you can read some book, such as
Digital Integrated Circuits A Design Perspective(Senond Edition)

you'd better see the NOR standard cell in the lib of synposys
