Hi all:

I want to design a circuit that to determine if the battery is chargable, then shows in LED.
That is ,I can maybe put alkaline , carbon-zinc or NiMH battery .....
But I have no idea how to start, anyone can help me ?

Thanks

there is a pdf at the link below for lead-acid battery. hope that is useful..

LEAD-ACID BATTERY CHARGER WITH VOLTAGE ANALYSER

Thanks for your reply, but that is not I want,
Users may put different type of battery, maybe alkaline or maybe NiMH....,some of them are rechargeable and others are not.
The circuit that I want is to distinguish from them.

Well my opinion is try to use diod zener in your cct. and use parallel connection.

When batery discharge, the voltage goes in the negetive direction, if u can read the or sense the negetive direction then u can display it using LED's.

However u must design the circuit first..good luck

A simple but practical thing this is
