I'm doing project on Fingerprint Recognition using Neural Network.
I'm using Backpropagation Neural Network. I try to train the network, but it's stuck where the error is constant after some time during the training. I put the whole fingerprint image as input.

If you have any idea on this, please help. I'm not clear how actually implement the neural network.

Thank you.

Dear friend:
you should use fingerprint feature instead of whole fingerprint image

Hi, Saman

What feature I should use? In fact, I'm not clear how to extract the feature of fingerprint image.

Do anyone have idea about neural network for fingerprint recognition? Have any paper on this topic? I use backpropagation multilayer net and this system is developed using MATLAB.

hey leek...i saw ur post of year ago...i hope that u have done your project of fingerprint using Neural network... if there is any source code in any language ( i prefer .net) please send to me..... i need to use it..

Hi all,
I'm stuck in the fingerprint classification now. Could you please help me to overcome it? It would be nice if you can send to me the source code and the paper of your successful project.
Thanks and Best regards,
