How to measure the performance of OFDM if I want to reduce the PAPR?

I am doing a project dealing with Peak to average power ratio in OFDM. So, my question here is how am I going to measure the performance if I want to reduce the PAPR. I know that it is cumulative distribution function vs PAPR. But how can I get the CDF?

Some test instruments have the CCDF function implemented in their software.
WinIQSim from Rhode & Schwarz is nice free software that allows playing with CCDF curves. You can download from their site:
