ni 6008 usb real time matlab

try to use LabView, instead of Matlab. Labview can handle USB. The maker of that soft manufactures many types of DAQ hardware. see the ni.com !

daq card with matlab

Hello!
Matlab is an excellent choice. I did hundreds of measurements using matlab and the GPIB toolbox as well as DAQ toolbox. The learning curve is damn easy! Have a look at the www.mathworks.com to check the supported harwdare.

reading data from usb by using matlab

The new usbdaq-225-18 card by http://www.usb-daq-boards.com connects to the computer by usb and acquires 18 simultaneous channels at up to 225 khz. You can control it from matlab.
