Hi everybody;
I heard that I cannot use RS232 standard for long length and I have to work with RS422 for reading and monitoring 16 digital sensors of 16 machines.
I need more info about circute, parts and AVR or PIC,MAX for it.

RS422 implementation

Actually, you may need RS485 instead.
RS232, RS422 is peer-to-peer

RS485 can do master-slave communication with 2-3 wires.
