What is Astable, monostable, bistable multivibrator

Astable : No stable state...go on oscillating

Monostable : One stable state..needs trigger to go to unstable state, but come back to the stable state after pre-decided time.

Bi-stable: has two stable states....need trigger to go from one stable state to another.

Re: What is Astable, monostable, bistable multivibrator

astable means not stable therefore it alternates between more than one value
monostable means it has a prefered state and when it is triggered to another, it goes back to its prefered state after certain time
bistable means that it is ok with the circuit to be in either states: 0 or 1
    try reading about 555 ic
    it's useful in this issue
