Come on guys/gals. It must use few paralleled N-Channel Mosfets.
I have seen a circuit for light loads in
one of the Elektor 300 circuit books ???

Hi,

I think you could use an application note at h**p://www.advancedpower.com/TechnicalSupport/ApplicationNotesIndex.asp. It is the APT0002. It uses paralled MOSFETs in an improved circuit and makes a 120kW load with them.

I have not seen the Elektor circuit you refer red to.

Regards, unkarc

A good beginning thanks.
I am referring to the book 301 circuits,
on page 285 Variable power resistor.

Thanks.

Use big salt water tank.

You can change the load characterictic distance between the electrodes.
