What is the maximum USB current?

hi

I want to know that how much is the maximum current that I can get from my computer with its USB port. (my question is regarding its Vcc wires, not signal wires).

I believe it to be 500mA.

100mA max during enumaration (config...)
500mA max after that (only if it is a external powered HUB like the ones that comes inside the PC).
