What't the difference between Response time and Propagation time?

Thanks.

Re: What't the difference between Response and Propagation

Reponse is the rise time of the output with a step input signal (measure in Volts/second) also called slew rate and is relates to the bandwith of the circuit.
Propagation is the delay time between the in and output signals

Re: What't the difference between Response and Propagation

Response time can be understood inertial time

But why the slew rate is related to bandwidth?

Slew rate equals I/C
And bandwidth of an amplifier is also related to I(gm), C.
