What is the correct process of development from a Simulink model to a C6713DSK?

1. Build model using normal Simulink blockset and Signal Processing blockset
2. Generate C code using Real-Time Workshop for Code Composer Studio and Embedded Target for C6000
3. Compile code in CCS

is this correct?

Because i always though that the so called Embedded Target for C6000 itself contains signal processing blocksets specifically for TI C6xxx DSPs and if i want to generate C code for TI DSPs i should build using blocks in Embedded Target for C6000.

Please verify. Thanks guys.

Well yes a lot of people has problems because .The installation is somehow bad .And MATLAB can't find the Ti compilers ,. Be shure to have all the system variables in order .
RelTime workshop produces the c code from the Simulink model equivalents and calls the compilers to get you a binary .

Be sure to set all configuration parameters and system target file especially. If the target file in Config is not set correctly, you wont be able to download .out file!

Hi,

Do you have any idea about sending and receiving data between the C6713 DSK and the workspace?

Regards
