Hi
I want to build a AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR for small diesel generator.
My be by 8051 or pic uc.

Is there any Idia or link :?:
thank you

The subject is interesting. You will need to use an ADC to measure the generator output voltage. If your microcontroller doesn't have one, I think the ADC0804 will do. Then you will need to do simple discreete PI or PID controller in software. Depending on your method of controlling the field current, you will need a chopper or a controlled rectifier. Controlled rectifiers are more robust but need more effort to operate.

Thank you
realy I have to build a transfer function like this
dpv/dpg =1/(1+sTH)
How /Where ..
plz tell me
