plc with upto 250 khz pulse

Hi
What kind of PLC to use to control stepper motor with encoder?

Thanks

ab hstp1 stepper

Hi Mgajo,
Please give some information about your stepper motor drive. Will you use microstepping?

Hi , thanks
I am trying to use ISEL driver with direction and clock inputs
with 200/400 steps per revolution (no need for microstep),but must everything control with encoder too,so no missing movements at all.

thanks :?

Hi

Here is some info from Allen Bradley

see

https://www.ab.com/motion/controllers/stepper.html

The 1746-HSTP1 Stepper controller module is a single axis stepper controller. The 1746 stepper controller is a single slot module that is capable of operating with a wide variety of SLC 500 series processors. It can provide up to 250kHz pulse train output for micro-stepping applications.

The module works directly with compatible Allen-Bradley programmable controllers and encoders. Compatible SLC processors include the fixed units used with the 2-slot expansion rack, SLC 5/01, SLC 5/02, SLC 5/03 and SLC 5/04 modules. It is also compatible with larger PLC programmable controller systems via the 1747-ASB module interface.

enjoy :D

Ok

Thanks for link

bye :D

Schneider PLC Premium is also compatible with stepper motor, with the module TSXCFY** More infos on **broken link removed**.
You ll be able to find the reference manuals to see if it fit with your application
