I have PIC18F4455 microcontroller, I'm woundering if you can communicate with other USB devices with it. Like transfering data from a USB fingerprint scanner to the microcontroller.

Re: PIC18F4455

Hello

If I were you I would use PICBasic Pro compiler, as they have taken care of USB communications.

Just a suggestion :)

Re: PIC18F4455

Pic USB chips , even 18F, can't act as HOST.
They are DEVICE only chips, so you can't use them to communicate with other USB devices chips.
