Hi,

How can I create an 'explosion' effect, in an electronic circuit? Soemthing like I press a button and it produces atleast something like a spark

Re: producing a spark

Hi

Its easy, use a automotive ignition coil, a MOSFET, and a 555 in mono-estavel configuration. search the web and you will find many circuits do do it.

Re: producing a spark

that will be dangerous, don't have a try.

best regards

producing a spark

could u be a bit more clearer, I doint understand

Re: producing a spark

hi

Yes, this is dangerous. I dont know why you need to do that. Forget it.

producing a spark

dont need to produce an explosion on an electronic circuit, but an explosion which can be controlled electronically, but carried in a 'mechanical device' (a mini-gun actually)
So I want a circuit in which an explosion can be setoff electronically.

Re: producing a spark

hi

Make a search on electromagnetic gun at google. You will find useful information.

But remember, this subject is very dangerous

producing a spark

Why "Electromagnetic guns", isnt there any method in which I could produce a spark at a mechanical device which needs to be triggered electronically.

Re: producing a spark

you can use the same idea used in cars where voltage is chopped then fed to high tension coil to give high tensio to spark plugs.

Re: producing a spark

you can use a dc power supply to charge a capacitor to few 100 s of volts, use a teigger spark gap to trigger this capacitor and dump the energy in a coil. you have toy high voltage spark.
