Hi all
I want to design a circuit which is used to supply current about ~400mA during a very short time (1ms) from battery 6V or 9V. As I know, it required a capactior to discharge when I need supply current but i don't know how to design. Please help me.
Thanks and best regards

Re: PowerSupply

You can use 555 timer in monostabile configuration to generate 1ms impulse. This impulse (reversed) can control P-Channel power mosfet or PNP BJT transistor.
If you sue battery as the supply source you don't need additional capacitor; battery easily should be able to deliver 400mA over 1ms..
