Diodes in fdtd

Hello everyone,

does anyone know an efficent implementation of newton's iteration so that diodes can be included in an FDTD code?

I have written a code but I must be doing sth. wrong because the efields are not being updated properly, they remain zero!

any suggestions/ideas are welcome

Thank you!
