Hi,

If you want to suppress overtones, then you need a low pass filter.

Klaus

The AC source needs to be a sinewave in order for the motor to be quiet.
Buzzing is common from motors driven by square-wave or modified sinewave inverters.

A full H-bridge turns DC supply into AC to the load.
For the bias apply a signal from a sinewave oscillator:
Bias amplitude needs to reach 12V so it can turn on the NPN high-side transistor.

H-bridge 4 transis biased by sinewave 12VDC supply load gets AC sine 11V amplitude.png

Or as an alternative create an auto-bias network from an LC arrangement made to resonate at 50Hz.

Hi,

or use an integrated circuit, like an audio class D amplifier with 50Hz sinewave input.
