Wireless microphones

I`ve got a serious problem. I want to make wireless microphones on my own using radio-frequency FM 88-108 MHz. But there are so many channels that all are disturbing the signal that has to reach from the microphone to the radio-reciever.
Has somone a idea or a scheme how to build a higher frequency transmitter (above 108 Mhz) and to it a reciever also?

Re: Wireless microphones

I think, if your signal is close to the recevier then it will dominates.

What I mean, I faced the same problem with my FM-TX which is at 87.7MHz, this channel is almost used but, when my signal is strong, I can hear my siganl within a 100meters range with building blocks in between. However, when the signal became weak, the other station dominates.

In brief, try to search for channel where no one is transmitting or transmitting with much noise, then ajust your TX frequency to this position and you'll hear your signal.

Wireless microphones

I don't know the RF regulation from your country, but usually it's illegal to use FM broadcasting band for your own purpose without a licence. There are a few available bands (tipically 27 MHz, 433 MHz, 866 MHz, 2.4 GHz etc) available for limited power or time using, transmisions.

Re: Wireless microphones

But you want to transmit within the FM band.??
Anyway,. it's legal to transmit with low power within this band 88MHz-108MHz.
