Help needed in offset volotage calculation

Hi all,
I have designed a clock regeneration circuit for my Master thesis. Now I am in a need of designing a voltage offset compensation circuit for my entire circuit design. I have an emitter follower at the beginning of my clock regeration circuit design, so I thought emiiter follower is a voltage follower circuit and so, an offset compensation for voltagee follower should be enough (in my case). But I don't know whether my approach of using only resistors is correct. And also my very big question is that, I don't know how to calculate the offset voltage of my circuit.
1.I went through many materials like connecting the -ve and +ve input to Vdd/2 bias voltage and check the output voltage so that offset voltage is (Vout-Vdd/2)/gain of the entire circuit.
2.Also, I tried another approach where Vcc=3.5V(my case), O/p voltage is 1.75V since I am using singel power supply throughout my circuit. I calculated Offset voltage from that.
3.And also, I came across this approach where I hcalculated Offset voltage as the diff betwen +ve and -ve input voltage at output voltage = 0V. The value was 2mV. I don't kno whether it is correct.
Could anyone suggest me a good method to solve this issue. Thanks in advance.
