Hello Everyone,

I need to choose a precise a value of resistor from the datasheet of a vendor. That vendor has provided the resistor range with % tolerance. I need to choose an exact value but somehow the detail table is missing, especially for 2% tolerance.
Can anyone provide me with details.

Capacitor values have the same significant figures as resistor values for the tolerance series that they come in. It is rare to find 1% or more accurate capacitors for sale. This is because the parasitic wiring capacitances are unknown in your circuit and ruin the capacitor tolerances and so you do not get any circuit improvements for your increased cost of parts.
