why 4 free wheeling diodes used in full bridge inverter when freewheeling is done mainly by low side MOSFET and the opposite freewheeling diode.

is it possible to use just 2 free wheeling diode with the 2 low side MOSFET ?

Sounds like an unsubstantiated assumption. Most inverter H-bridges with MOSFET don't use separate free-wheeling diodes.

H bridges are preferably operated in synchronous mode so that the current is always conducted by closed MOSFET switches. During switch dead time, current can be commutated to MOSFET substrate diodes for a short time interval.

so free wheeling diode is not required in case of MOSFET but it has to be implemented with IGBT ??

Yes, also with BJT switches. IGBT bridge modules usually come with diodes already built-in.
